Biello Martin Studio
Biello Martin Studio is the shared creative sanctuary and showroom of multidisciplinary artist Michael Biello, one of the original artisan/makers who created the Old City revival in the 1970’s and creator of one of a kind and limited-editionchandeliers, illuminated ceramic sculpture, and decorative art; Dan Martin–composer/musician/producer; and Kellijane–luxury bed, bath and table linens and unique accessories by special order. Biello Martin Studio often presents intimate salons of art, music and theater.
Biello has created custom designs for Barneys, art objects for Ca et la resort in Japan and sculptural lighting that can be seen throughout Philadelphia, including in Red Tettemer’s corporate offices and at Hickory Lane Restaurant in Fairmount. Biello’s work is in numerous private collections including many in the entertainment business: Broadway producers Sharon Karmazin and Jennifer Manocherian, Hamilton star Javier Munoz, musician/poet/actor Jill Scott. He designed the GLAMA and Outmusic Awards, whose recipients include k.d. lang, RuPaul, Melissa Etheridge, and many other pop music icons.
